VC tips for startups outside the valley

Popular Question and Answer venture capital blog ‘Ask the VC’ has a post yesterday giving tips for startups that operate outside Silicon Valley, Boston, or NYC.
There are some great points in that post, including find the local entrepreneurship ecosystem by seeking out other companies, researchers and universities, and finding advisors who can introduce you to business contacts.
These days, thanks to sites like meetup.com and other social networks, its easier than ever to connect with entrepreneurs in your area, or at least start a meetup group of your own.
