Inc.com has a great slideshow on the 10 most innovative states in the US. I have to admit I was surprised.
Here is the list, from least to greatest:
- New York
- Colorado
- Virginia
- Delaware
- Connecticut
- California
- Washington
- Maryland
- New Jersey
- Massachusetts (First Place)
What are your thoughts? I am in Pennsylvania and am the first to admit we have a long way to go.

I’m surprised California is not up there in 1-2…Conventional knowledge would seem to point to MA + CA as the innovation supercenters…Also, no North Carolina in the Triangle?…
